Don’t miss Con Brio at Okeechobee Music Festival this Thursday, March 2nd at 7:45pm – 9pm at Aquachobee Beach Stage. Andrew Laubacher, Con Brio’s drummer gave Blog The Noise a few answers leading up to the excitement for this weekend’s event!
CindyBTN: What was your favorite track/song to put together & why?
Andrew: “No Limits” was a favorite of mine. I love the vibe the band gets going and the keys line in the B section is my favorite moment on the album. The track has a sense of urgency to it, but there’s something about the song that feels mellow as well. It was that dichotomy that really drew me in while we were tracking it.
CindyBTN: What was the biggest challenge Con Brio ever faced?
Andrew: It’s something that I believe we will continue to face as long as we continue to grow. That challenge is to navigate through the many ideas and personalities that occupy the group. We are a large band (7 members) and everyone has different influences, different tastes. Balancing those differing views can be tough, but as we discover our strengths and weaknesses as individuals, the band is able to become more bold in our delivery and deeper in the content we create.
CindyBTN: If you could tell your fans one motivational message, what would it be?
You can be anything

It’s in a book
A Reading Rainbow
CindyBTN: How does it feel to be apart of Okeechobee Music Festival?
Andrew: To play a festival where the line up is so solid is incredibly inspiring. You’re able to soak up all that good music and bring it into your performance.
CindyBTN: Should we be looking out for any surprises at Okeechobee this year?
Andrew: Every day is different. Every set a surprise.
Popmatters calls Con Brio “the best new live band in America.” Do you wonder why? Check out their music video Free & Brave below but get ready for the ultimate goose bumps because the lead singer’s voice will blow you out of the water.
